Dr. Bryan Choong is a graduate of Sherman College of Straight Chiropractic, South Carolina in 2006. He has worked in SC and also in Malaysia doing upper cervical work. He also holds an associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, and worked as an Engineer/Supervisor with multinational companies, Sony Inc. and Bic Inc. He worked as a ‘jig and fixture’ designer for automated assembly line manufacturing discman for Sony Inc. Dr. Choong also worked as a QC Supervisor for the famous BIC pens.
Dr. Choong came to discover the wonderful healing art, science and philopsophy of the upper cervical work when he was suffering from lower back issues as a result of a head trauma sustained at 3 years old. This caused a chain/domino effect and reaction causing his lower back to be weakened. He was suffering from severe spasms and disc herniation throughout his early teens and twenties.
His first visit to the upper cervical doctor’s office and a correction to the upper cervical spine made a tremendous change to his lower back condition, thus resulting in a career change. He decided to move to Sherman College in Greenville, South Carolina to become an upper cervical doctor. He wanted to help others the way he received help so that the sick and suffering can receive healing in their bodies.
While he was an intern at Sherman, he saw his very first patient who was in his late teens, suffering from nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting). This patient saw many health care providers prior but still the 'problem' persisted. Needless to say, the patient got well and the 'problem' stopped almost immediately after a specific upper cervical spine correction. The patient's mom was so amazed and impressed with the result, that she became the next patient. She too responded well with the upper cervical correction and had her fibromyalgia symptoms diminish over time, and she is now completely healed without dependency on her medications. She also brought her mom, who had rheumatoid athritis (RA) under care too! These patients all have one common underlying root cause - a misalignment at the head and neck level known as the upper cervical. Yet, this underlying root cause in the upper cervical affected them very differently in their health conditions.
Dr. Choong brings years of experience as an upper cervical doctor to the tri-state area, providing care for those who have a condition known as an upper cervical misalignment that is causing brainstem/spinal cord compression. His goal is to bring awareness and its wonderful life changing benefits through upper cervical care in this region. He is privileged and honoured to be able to serve the community through the upper cervical work. Helping the sick get their life back, getting them well, and stay well.
